Ages 6-14 | NEW
Sarah Holmes is excited to introduce youth to board games and the problem solving skills they develop for their minds. Some games will be more challenging and that’s nothing to shy away from; problem solving is a life skill and core to mathematics. Positive game culture can encourage us to try different things, and try again. Games offered will be 2 player games and multiplayer games with plans to rotate players around in games that meet their skill. Chess and chess problem solving will also be offered, with an option for tournament style play depending on levels of interest.
Please note: Reading will make it easier to participate with game play – though if there are a few early readers we will have games for them to learn, and everyone 4+ can learn chess.
