Ages 12+ | FREE
Come learn the basics for safe and comfortable boating. Workshop contents include: use of the magnetic compass & GPS, nautical charts, aids to navigation, plotting one’s course and position, handling a power vessel, weather basics for boating, tides & currents, anchors & anchoring, and marlinspike (knots and hitches you need to know for boating).
Drop-In is only available if space permitting; please register in advance.
