Ages 12+ | CPS Canadian Power Squadron
A synopsis of the weather systems that have the most impact on our boating enjoyment and safety; review of where to get reliable Marine weather forecasts, before setting out and while on the water; along with identification of weather hazards such as wind and waves, visibility (fog), and low-pressure systems. Participants also learn how an atmospheric river is formed and why it is now more prevalent.
