Field Status

Current Field Status:  Rollo McClay – Discretion

Field status is determined by taking into account the safety and playability of the field, the weather forecast, excessive wear and tear, and potential for damage due to field conditions. User groups should cancel their booking when standing water, frost or snow is on the field. Signage may or may not be present to indicate facility status, please check this page for updates.

Program Proposals & Instructors Wanted

Program proposals and instructors

The Gabriola Recreation Society is always looking for instructors to teach and lead recreational programs. We are looking for qualified, experienced instructors.

We co-ordinate 4 sessions/year: Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall. Programs vary - they can be one-time workshops; a short series of classes; summer camps for kids; or ongoing, weekly classes that can span from 4 weeks to the entire year.
